The agricultural vocation of most of the territories that make up the Gal Peloritans corresponds a sector characterized by the cultivation of different types united by an exceptionally high quality: to the productions obtained by means of the biological method (under the Regulations EC 2092/91 EC e n. 834/07), They have been joined by some important PDO and PGI (approved under EC Regulation. 510/2006) that are the pride of local production.


BIOLOGICAL PRODUCTION

In relation to the areas of origin are identified several types of productions bio. First of all the vineyards from which, in addition to the DOC Mamertino, They produce excellent quality of organic wines (especially in the area of ​​Saint Lucia del Mela, but also Furnari, Spadafora and Pace del Mela).

WINE MAMERTINO DOC
